Ida Bouwhuis Llovalldesign - Chiens de races et photos de chiens

I started in photography at the age of 7 when my uncle gave me a camera and taught me all he knew about taking a good picture. Since then a camera has never been out of reach. Having had dogs all my life (having been given a Rough Collie for my first birthday!) choosing a subject was not too difficult. Whilst being a dog groomer I studied at the Dutch College for Photography and gained my qualifications.

For some years in Holland I was the photographer for the main Cat Society there and did their show photography, and from there it just seem to roll forward. Having moved to Britain in 1999, Dog Show photography became my main subject with the result of becoming an Our Dogs Photographer in 2008.

The photography is part of LlovallDesign, a business that I run with business partner Jane Kabel, both of us having been showing dogs for more then 30 years now, which gives us an insight to what the exhibitor is looking for in a photograph. Our experience has also come from working as dog groomers (all breeds) and working in various boarding kennels. LlovallDesign is very proud to be part of the Our Dogs family!

Over the years we have been owned by various dogs; a Welsh Terrier, Samoyeds, a Shiba Inu and not to forget our West Highland White Terriers.
